Mijn leven met Boxers begon in 1977 toen ik samen met mijn man Nigel onze eerste Boxer kocht. Onze eerste Boxer liet ons kennismaken met de wereld van het showen, we registreerden onze kennelnaam ‘Zenmaxkay’ bij de Engelse Kennel Club in 1979.
Sinds 1977 ben ik actief betrokken bij het showen en fokken van Boxers.
In de beginjaren beperkten onze shows zich tot Groot-Brittannië, maar toen de quarantainevoorschriften versoepeld werden, konden we ook showen op de grote Europese Boxershows. We hadden het geluk dat we succes hadden in de showring met onze zelfgefokte Boxers, waarmee we kampioenstitels hebben behaald in Engeland en Europese landen.
Ik ben sinds 1978 naar de grote Europese shows gereisd en heb het genoegen gehad de belangrijkste ‘Top Boxers’ uit het verleden en het heden te zien die een belangrijke impact hebben gehad op het Boxerras
Ook heb ik de mogelijkheid gehad om te discussiëren en te leren van hun fokkers.
Ik zag op die reizen de waarde van Europese honden en heb samen met mijn man Boxers uit Nederland, België, Italië en Rusland aangekocht.
Mijn keurcarrière begon in 1991, sindsdien heb ik doorlopend Boxers gekeurd op kampioenschapsshows.
Ik heb het genoegen gehad om Boxers te keuren, niet alleen in Groot-Brittannië, maar ook in een aantal Europese en Scandinavische landen.
Dit wordt de tweede keer dat ik op de Atibox World Show mag keuren.
De eerste keer was in Roemenië in 2019.
Ook ben ik vereerd dat ik in 2024 voor de tweede keer in Nederland mag keuren.
Ik kijk er enorm naar uit om u en uw Boxers te ontmoeten en wens iedere exposant een plezierige en sportieve Atibox World Show 2024.
My life with Boxers began in 1977 when with my husband Nigel, we purchased our first Boxer. Our first Boxer introduced us to the world of showing, we registered our kennel name ‘Zenmaxkay’ with the English Kennel Club in 1979.
I have been actively involved in showing and breeding Boxers since 1977.
In the early years our showing was restricted to the UK, but when the quarantine regulations changed we were also able to show at the major European Boxer shows. We have been fortunate to have had success in the show rings with Boxers bred and owned by us gaining champion titles in England and European Countries.
I have travelled to the Major European shows since 1978 and have had the pleasure of seeing the major ‘Top Boxers’ of the past and present that have had an important impact on the Boxer breed and the opportunity to discuss and learn from their breeders.
I saw on those trips the value of European dogs and have been fortunate to have imported Boxers from Holland, Belgium, Italy and Russia together with my husband.
My judging career started in 1991, since which time I have progressed through the English judging system to judge Boxers at Championship Shows.
I have had the pleasure to judge Boxers not only in the U.K. but also in a number of European and Scandinavian countries.
This will be the second time I will have the pleasure to judge at the Atibox World Show.
The first time was in Romania in 2019.
Also I am honoured to have the opportunity to judge for a second time in Holland 2024.
